The Twin River Titans basketball team (Genoa, NE), was defeated 40-29 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE)

The Huskies now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giltner for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Shelby-Rising City will battle a Hornets team coming off a 45-34 non-league win over High Plains (Polk, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Lutheran-Northeast ran past Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE), 56-48, in a non-league contest.
