Indiana High School Basketball - Knightstown overwhelmed by Union City
December 3, 2022: Knightstown, IN 46148 The Union City Indians basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Knightstown Panthers to 27 in the Indians league victory on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centerville for a Tri-Eastern contest on Wednesday, December 7. Union City will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 82-28 league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern (Shelbyville, IN). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Southwestern was routed by Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 68-13, in a non-league contest.
