Illinois High School Basketball - Metea Valley overwhelms Aurora East
December 3, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502 The Metea Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Aurora East Tomcats to 39 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Waubonsie Valley for a DuPage Valley game on Friday, December 6. Metea Valley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 66-26 non-league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Aurora East falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Larkin (Elgin, IL) to confront the Royals in a Upstate Eight game on Friday, December 6. The Royals go into the game with a record of 0-3. Larkin lost 77-35 in their recent non-league game against Rockford East (Rockford, IL)
