In Friday's league test, the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball squad defeated the visiting Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), by a score of 59-43.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 26. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 62-30 league loss to Danville (Danville, IL).

The Huskies (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Grant Community overcame Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL), 65-56, in a non-league test.
