December 3, 2024: Jefferson, GA 30548 Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), 73-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Jackson County advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Panthers host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-3. East Jackson won 65-50 in their recent non-league match against Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA)
The Spartans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apalachee for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. West Hall will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 74-72 non-league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
