Illinois High School Basketball - MacArthur sneaks past Lincoln

The MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) basketball edged the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 58-51 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Generals now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Springfield for a Central State Eight bout on Friday, December 6. MacArthur will play a Senators team coming off a 43-38 league win over Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Senators record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to play the Cyclones in a Central State Eight bout on Friday, December 6. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 36-33 in their recent league bout against Normal University (Normal, IL)
