Iowa High School Basketball - Central Decatur overwhelms Lamoni
December 4, 2023: Lamoni, IA 50140 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) and the host Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA), witnessed Central Decatur's basketball squad crush Lamoni by a margin of 68-15.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their test against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles go into the Pride of Iowa test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, East Union was trounced by Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA), 73-36, in a league test.
The Demons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Lamoni will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 67-20 non-league win over Cainsville (Cainsville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
