Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL), 50-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Salt Fork upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Storm host Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to play the Cornjerkers in a Vermilion Valley bout on Thursday, December 7. The Cornjerkers come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Hoopeston won 58-28 in their recent league bout against Westville (Westville, IL)

Next up, the Trojans play the Oakwood Comets (Fithian, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Thursday, December 7. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
