Louisiana High School Basketball - Brusly nips Madison Prep Academy
December 4, 2023: Brusly, LA 70719 Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 40-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Brusly upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Central won 51-25 in their recent non-league bout against East Feliciana (Jackson, LA)
Next up, the play the East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Madison Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 37-28 non-league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA).
