North Creek Jaguars (Bothell, WA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), 58-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, North Creek advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Eastlake (Sammamish, WA) to meet the Wolves in a 4A KingCo match on Saturday, December 7. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Islanders now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sammamish for a 3A KingCo match on Saturday, December 7. Mercer Island will meet a RedHawks squad coming off a 80-70 non-league win over Bothell/Inglemoor (Bothell, WA). The RedHawks record now stands at 2-1.
