The Shepard Astros basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Stagg Chargers to 54 in the Astros non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Astros now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Thornton Fractional South for a South Suburban game on Friday, December 6. Shepard will confront a Red Wolves team coming off a 72-29 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Red Wolves record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Stagg falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to confront the Eagles in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-1.
