Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) and the visiting Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC), saw East Carteret's basketball squad knock off Washington by a count of 99-82.

With the victory, East Carteret upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mariners host Havelock (Havelock, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Havelock lost 72-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)

Next up, the Pam Pack play the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA).
