North Carolina High School Basketball - West Craven nudges East Carteret

West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC), 77-76 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Craven upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Havelock (Havelock, NC) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Mariners clash with the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. East Carteret will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 63-57 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, NC).
