North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson can't hold off Piedmont Community Charter
December 5, 2022: Mooresboro, NC 28114 The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons to 51 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Tech for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Piedmont Community Charter will battle a Rams team coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
The Gryphons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Asheville was nudged by Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA), 86-27, in a non-league contest.
