The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Highland Tech Rams to 63 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rutherford for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Piedmont Community Charter will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 65-62 non-league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-1.

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Polk County nudged Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 72-62, in a non-league contest.
