The Oak Mountain Eagles basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Briarwood Christian Lions to 61 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestavia Hills for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Oak Mountain will battle a Rebels team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 6-3.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn was defeated by Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
