Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gaylord Blue Devils (Gaylord, MI), 67-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charlevoix upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rayders host Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI) to clash with the Rams in a Lake Michigan bout on Friday, December 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Harbor Springs won 76-29 in their recent non-league bout against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Gaylord will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 64-48 non-league loss to Menominee (Menominee, MI).
