The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) basketball nipped the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), 69-63 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 0-0 record.
