The Croatan Cougars topped the host East Carteret Mariners basketball team by a final score of 71-61 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 8. Croatan will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Seahawks enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 52-34 non-league loss to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).
