December 5, 2023: Apple Valley, MN 55124 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) and the visiting Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN), saw Eastview's basketball squad wallop Mayo by a tally of 79-56.
With the victory, Eastview improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Orono (Long Lake, MN) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Orono won 69-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Northfield Raiders (Northfield, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mayo will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 76-38 non-league loss to Mankato East (Mankato, MN).
