New York High School Basketball - Whitehall overwhelms Galway
December 5, 2023: Whitehall, NY 12887 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) and the visiting Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY), saw Whitehall's basketball squad wallop Galway by a tally of 61-28.
With the victory, Whitehall improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Railroaders host Salem (Salem, NY) to play the Generals in a Section 2 Adirondack challenge on Friday, December 8. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Salem lost 69-32 in their recent league challenge against Argyle (Argyle, NY)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Fort Plain Hilltoppers (Fort Plain, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Mohawk challenge, on Friday, December 8. Galway will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 43-36 non-league loss to Canajoharie (Canajoharie, NY).
