Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Liberal Redskins (Liberal, KS) and the host Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), saw Liberal's basketball squad knock off Valley Center by a tally of 79-65.

With the victory, Liberal improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Redskins host Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Southwestern Heights lost 53-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Holcomb (Holcomb, KS)

Next up, the Hornets play the Andale Indians (Andale, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Valley Center will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
