The Salina Central Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Valley Center Hornets to 52 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andover for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Salina Central will meet a Trojans team coming off a 72-37 non-league win over South (Salina, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.
