Alabama High School Basketball - Springwood fells Valiant Cross Academy

Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valiant Cross Academy Warriors (Montgomery, AL), 76-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Springwood upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Chambers Academy lost 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) in a AISA AAA Region 1 bout, on Saturday, December 16. Valiant Cross Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
