The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) and the host South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN), observed Kouts's basketball team edge South Central by a score of 37-34.

The Mustangs & Fillies (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Westville (Westville, IN). The Blackhawks come into the Porter County challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Westville edged Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN), 61-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Satellites encounter the Culver Community Cavaliers (Culver, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 7. South Central will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
