Indiana High School Basketball - Morgan Township thwarts South Central

December 10, 2024: Union Mills, IN 46382

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) and the host South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN), observed Morgan Township's basketball team knock off South Central by a score of 57-45.

The Cherokees (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies come into the Porter County challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Kouts prevailed over DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN), 52-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Satellites encounter the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) in a Porter County challenge, on Thursday, December 12. South Central will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN).
