Nevada High School Basketball - Virginia City knocks off Pershing County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) and the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), observed Virginia City's basketball team overcome Pershing County by a score of 50-37.

The Muckers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Beatty (Beatty, NV). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Pershing County will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Serpents come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 68-39 non-league loss to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV).
