The Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball crushed the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 44-16 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Smith Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. Pershing County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-19 non-league win over Beatty (Beatty, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Mineral County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Serpents travel to Beatty (Beatty, NV) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6.
