The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), 45-27 in Thursday's league bout.

The Comets now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Manteno for a Illinois Central 8 bout on Monday, December 9. Reed-Custer will play a Panthers team coming off a 27-17 league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
