In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored a close 42-37 triumph over the Peotone Blue Devils.

The Comets (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Bradley-Bourbonnais was tipped by Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 55-18, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. Peotone will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Momence Athletics go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 47-35 league win over Beecher (Beecher, IL).
