Maryland High School Basketball - Severn School triumphant over Avalon
December 5, 2025: Severna Park, MD 21146 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) and the visiting Avalon Black Knights (Wheaton, MD), observed Severn School's basketball team overwhelm Avalon by a score of 81-45.
The Admirals (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hope Academy Regional (Landover Hills, MD). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, New Hope Academy Regional trounced King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 80-74, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Black Knights encounter the Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Avalon will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
