December 5, 2025: Fort Collins, CO 80526 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Poudre School District Stars (Fort Collins, CO) and the visiting Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO), witnessed Poudre School District's ice hockey team defeat Cherry Creek by a final score of 7-1.
The Stars (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO). The Cougars come into the 5A League 4 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Resurrection Christian was routed by Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO), 7-0, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bruins battle the Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Cherry Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Chatfield (Littleton, CO).
