Alabama High School Basketball - Hatton holds off Lawrence County
December 6, 2022: Moulton, AL 35650 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) and the host Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), saw Hatton's basketball squad hold off Lawrence County by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Hatton improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Area 16 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Tharptown lost 56-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Belgreen (Russellville, AL)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Lawrence County will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Austin (Decatur, AL).
