The Minden Whippets basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 51 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Whippets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broken Bow for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Minden will battle a Indians team coming off a 48-22 non-league win over Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.

The Minutemen (0-3) will now prepare for their game against York (York, NE). The Dukes enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
