Georgia High School Basketball - Union County fells Murphy

December 6, 2022: Blairsville, GA 30512

Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), 75-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Towns County lost 55-37 in their recent non-league bout against Andrews (Andrews, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Conference 43 bout, on Friday, December 9. Murphy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 64-37 non-league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC).
