Texas High School Basketball - Connally tipped by Midway
December 6, 2022: Waco, TX 76712 The Midway Panthers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Connally Cadets to 38 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Hutto for a 6A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, December 13.
Next up, the Cadets play the Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Connally will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to St. Andrew's (Austin, TX).
