Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX), 26-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Parkland upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Matadors host Riverside (El Paso, TX) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Riverside won 43-19 in their recent non-league bout against Horizon (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Fabens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
