Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) and the visiting Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC), saw Providence Grove's basketball squad hold off Southern Guilford by a tally of 47-41.

With the victory, Providence Grove improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Williams (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Williams won 77-35 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)
