Washington, DC High School Basketball - Archbishop Carroll topples Woodson
December 6, 2023: Washington, DC 20017 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC) basketball squad beat the visiting Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC), by a count of 60-50.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets go into the DCSAA AA outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, St. John's defeated Benedictine (Richmond, VA), 51-49, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Roosevelt for a DCSAA AA outing on Monday, December 11. Woodson will clash with a Roughriders squad coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to Poly (Baltimore, MD). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-1.
