Oregon High School Basketball - Crescent Valley can't hold off Churchill
December 6, 2023: Corvallis, OR 97330 The Churchill Lancers basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Crescent Valley Raiders to 55 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lancers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilsonville for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Churchill will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Albany (Albany, OR). The Redhawks enter the 5A Mid-Willamette contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, South Albany was nudged by Philomath (Philomath, OR), 54-46, in a non-league contest.
