December 6, 2023: Dixon, IL 61021 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) and the visiting Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), saw Dixon's basketball squad overcome Plano by a tally of 57-44.
With the victory, Dixon improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Dukes & Duchesses host Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Alleman won 43-40 in their recent league challenge against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL)
Next up, the Reapers confront the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Friday, December 8. Plano will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 56-42 league win over Marengo (Marengo, IL).
