The Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) basketball knocked off the host Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 70-57 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Southampton Academy went down by Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC), 67-54, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Harrells Christian Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent test on Friday, December 8.
