December 6, 2023: Towson, MD 21204 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) and the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), saw Loyola Blakefield's basketball squad hold off Mount St. Joseph by a tally of 60-58.
With the victory, Loyola Blakefield improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Annapolis Area Christian lost 68-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD)
Next up, the Gaels confront the Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Mount St. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 68-51 league loss to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD).
