The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA), observed Cathedral Catholic's basketball team knock off Torrey Pines by a score of 78-65.

The Dons (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA). The Torreys come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, La Jolla Country Day was knocked off by Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA), 85-56, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. Torrey Pines will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 66-34 non-league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA).
