The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Saydel Eagles to 52 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pella Christian for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Prairie City-Monroe will confront a Eagles team coming off a 59-42 league win over Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
