In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lowry Buckaroos basketball team scored a close 41-38 win over the Bishop Manogue Miners.

The Buckaroos (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Spanish Springs edged North Valleys (Reno, NV), 59-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Miners battle the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Bishop Manogue will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
