The Lowry Buckaroos basketball squad (Winnemucca, NV), was outscored 51-41 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV)

With the victory, Fernley advances its record to 15-4 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to Dayton (Dayton, NV) to meet the Dust Devils in a 3A Northern - East battle on Friday, January 24. The Dust Devils enter the battle with a record of 1-12. Dayton lost 53-8 in their recent league battle against Churchill County (Fallon, NV)

The Buckaroos now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pershing County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 22. Lowry will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 45-41 league win over West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-4.
