Georgia High School Basketball - Murray County triumphant over North Murray
December 6, 2024: Chatsworth, GA 30705 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) and the visiting North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), observed Murray County's basketball team overwhelm North Murray by a margin of 67-29.
The Indians (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Marietta trounced Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 56-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. North Murray will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 73-43 non-league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).
