Georgia High School Basketball - Murray County triumphant over Union County
December 17, 2024: Chatsworth, GA 30705 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) and the visiting Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), observed Murray County's basketball team overwhelm Union County by a margin of 63-38.
The Indians (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Eagles come into the AA Region 7 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, North Cobb Christian was trounced by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 59-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Union County will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 47-33 non-league loss to Darlington (Rome, GA).
