The Midlothian Panthers got by the visiting Waxahachie Indians basketball squad by a final score of 63-58 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. Midlothian will play a Coyotes team coming off a 69-66 non-league win over The Colony (The Colony, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-2.

The Indians (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Cypress Park was nipped by Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 55-37, in a non-league test.
